Why do I sometimes see "centre" and sometimes "center". Is it a mistake?
The spelling in English is centre, but in US English it is center. This is one of several differences between English and US English spelling. Other examples are:
theatre/theater
colour/color
catalogue/catalog
Is it "centre" or "center"?
