Hello!
My name is Zoe. I’m originally from the UK but I’ve been teaching English in Thailand for the last 18 months. I’m looking into starting a pen pal program for some of my more advanced students. My students are 15-18 years old. Dependent on student interest (and ability) I imagine I would have around 30-40 students who would like to participate.
I’m looking to partner with students of a similar age from an English speaking country (UK, US, etc) for both cultural exchange and to help my students improve their written English. I teach in a small, rural, low-income area in the South of Thailand and many of my students know very little of the outside world.
The school year in Thailand runs from May until February, so I would like to be able to start my students writing letters in May (2018).
