longest-standing

Post by PinkLady »

Does this sentence make sense?

"She's one of the longest-standing UN Goodwill Ambassadors."

Note By this, I think I said 'she's one of the oldest...', it would be implied that she's one of those who still performs that role, and is already over 80 or so...
But I mean she's one who had been performing that role for most time, such as for more than 20 years.
