Is this sentence correct?
"She outlived her husband for 5 years."
Note By this, I mean that she still lived for 5 years, after her husband's death.

You outlive somebody BY 5 years.
For the meaning you want, you should say:
"She outlived her husband by 5 years."
For the meaning you want, you should say:
"She outlived her husband by 5 years."
