Studying Vocabulary
According to my own experience, one of the best ways to increase your vocabulary is:
1. you have to read a lot
2. find and take note all the new vocabularies
3. look up the meaning in the dictionary
4. try to memorize and make sentences based on the new words you've found
Good luck!

Read the newspaper daily. Always there is a new word which helps to build vocabulary. Try to create a sentence using that word it helps to improve English speaking with new words. Also read books, novels.
At UPSC classes in Nagpur faculty always give the task to write a blog on a topic which helps students to write an essay in the exam with new words. And it's really helpful in the exam time and in vocabulary building.
