Uncountable abstract nouns

I need to know whether the definite article is correctly used with "the human creativity": " Effort and creativity make their success stories a mark in the human creativity."

There should be no definite article, thus:

Effort and creativity make their success stories a mark in human creativity.

You don't need an article here
