Which are correct:
1) She hired him and changed both of their lives.
2) She hired him and changed each of their lives.
3) She hired him and changed the lives of both of them.
4) She hired him and changed the lives of each of them.
To me '1' is the best. '3' sound sort of OK. The other two sound strange, but I see no reason why they'd be considered incorret.
Gratefully,

Re: each/both
(2) is grammatical but nonsense: they (presumably) do not each possess more than one life!
