in my sandwich

Post by navit »

Are these correct:

1) I had olives in my sandwich.
2) I ate olives in my sandwich.

I think '1' is correct and '2' isnt. But '1' doesn't mean I ate the sandwich. I might not have eaten it.

Gratefully,
