I wonder which sentence is correct
My sister is as smart as me.
My sister is a as smart as I.

Both are used: the first is widely accepted, especially for informal/conversational use. The second is "classically" correct but sounds too formal to most speakers for daily use.

An alternative locution, midway in formality between the two, would be

My sister is as smart as I am.
