Hi! This is for English students who are low intermediate level and above.

Our English department is revising exams and trying some new formats. If you have time and interest, you could help us test an exam. I'm including some instructions below.

You don't need to use your real name on the exam, but I'll be happy to give you feedback on your results if you ask me here and tell me the name that you used when taking the test.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Thank you for helping us to revise our English exams!

We are trying some new test formats, so we'd like to see how students answer the questions and especially how much time is needed. This will help us to make the exams the appropriate lengths and levels.

There are 8 parts to choose from (ignore part 9 essay).

Please, after you start the test, only answer ONE of the parts, and then click "NEXT" until you reach the end of the test and click "FINISH NOW" to submit your answers. This will allow us to see how much time each part requires.

Hopefully this will take just 3-20 minutes depending on the part. Only take as much time as would normally need if this were an actual test.

After you submit, you are welcome to click on the exam link again and answer a different part (1-8).
