Hi everybody,

Does punctuation go inside or outside quotation marks during a dialogue?

"Let's help!" says ...


What about sentences like:

She puts her pjs on, thinking “What a nice day!"

Your examples are correct as they are in British English.
"We are not wholly bad or good, who live our lives under Milk Wood :-| " — Dylan Thomas, Under Milk Wood
