Suggestions for Learning English

Post by ebrubiter »

Hi, I'm Ebru Biter.

I'll talk about 2 apps that help me learn English.

1) Cambly
I could write in English but could not speak. I've practiced a lot of conversation with Cambly. I really trust myself now.
Blog posts are also very helpful. You should definitely follow.

2) Duolingo
The next application is Duolingo. Too many positive comments. Users say it is very useful.

Check out these two applications.

Hello, Ebru Biter!

Thank you for your topic and English learning suggestions. There are so many options for English learners nowadays. Actually, it is truly a prime time to learn any language, since the internet bridges the accessibility gap between students and teachers. As a teacher of English, I first advise students to not only take every opportunity they can to speak English, but also to make opportunities to speak to as many native English speakers as they can—whether these opportunities be in person or online. My next suggestion is to include as many of your senses in your language learning process as possible. The more involved you are, the more likely you’ll remember what you’ve learned and the stronger your communications skills will become. As a Chinese proverb claims, “I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.”

May I also recommend https://www.topic-time.jp/teachers.php. I like the learning philosophy, quality and variety of teachers on this site.

Thank you!

Great collection, thanks. To learn English, I also recommend the EnglishPapa online school. I really like to study there, the teachers use modern teaching methods.

First of all, thank you for your good topic and English Learning suggestion. I recommended making a habit of memorizing 50 words daily.

I really appreciate Duolingo because it can remind the learners every day to learn English by sending many notifications.

I suggest podcasts and audible books.

Play in the background to immerse yourself in the language.
