to fasten/unfasten

Post by PinkLady »

On airplanes, it's common to hear: "Please, fasten your seat-belts."

And would it make sense to say in regard to the belts that we wear with slacks or skirts: "to fasten/unfasten one's belt"?

Additionally, and would it make sense: "to fasten/unfasten one's tie"?

How about saying:"to fasten/unfasten one's bras"?

Thanks.

Yes, all of those uses of 'fasten/unfasten' would be acceptable. (N.B. 'bra' wold normally be singular!)
