Was the Year 2000 a Leap Year?

A leap year has 29 days in February (normal years have 28 days in February). When the year is a century (that is, it ends in 00), the century has to divide by 4 to be a leap year. So 1900 was not a leap year, but the year 2000 was a leap year and there were 29 days in February 2000.
