Homework: Opposite Prefixes
INappropriate, IRregular, IMpolite...
Intermediate
INconsiderate or UNconsiderate? UNpolite or IMpolite? It’s amazing how just a couple of letters can cause so much confusion! Prefixes may be second nature to native speakers, but to our students, they are anything but. They are, nevertheless, an important rite of passage for every English learner, so it’s important that they get them right.
This handy worksheet helps students practise Opposite Prefixes through three different types of exercises.
