Below, you see the kitchen words used in example sentences- apron: Whenever I cook, I wear an apron.
- blender: I put the vegetables in the blender to make a soup.
- bin: I threw the eggshells in the bin.
- cabinet: There were lots of plates in the cabinet.
- chopping board: I chopped the vegetables on the chopping board.
- cleaver: Henry used a sharp cleaver to chop the onions.
- coffeemaker: I use the coffeemaker to make coffee every morning.
- dishwasher: After we’d eaten, I put the dishes in the dishwasher.
- dish sponge: I used the dish sponge to wash the plates.
- dish towel: After washing the plates, she dried them with a dish towel.
- knife: I used a sharp knife to cut the meat.
- microwave: Sally cooked the potatoes in the microwave.
- oven: When the chicken was ready, I took it out of the oven.
- oven gloves, oven mitts: Before taking the cake out of the oven, I put on some oven gloves.
- pan: I fried the eggs in a pan.
- pot: The pot was full of boiling water.
- refrigerator: We keep our cheese in the refrigerator.
- sink: There were dirty plates in the sink.
- toaster: Nick put two slices of bread into the toaster.
- washing up liquid (UK), dishwashing liquid (US): I used the new washing up liquid to wash the dishes.
