  • apron: Whenever I cook, I wear an apron.
  • blender: I put the vegetables in the blender to make a soup.
  • bin: I threw the eggshells in the bin.
  • cabinetThere were lots of plates in the cabinet.
  • chopping board: I chopped the vegetables on the chopping board.
  • cleaver: Henry used a sharp cleaver to chop the onions.
  • coffeemaker: I use the coffeemaker to make coffee every morning.
  • dishwasher: After we’d eaten, I put the dishes in the dishwasher.
  • dish sponge: I used the dish sponge to wash the plates.
  • dish towel: After washing the plates, she dried them with a dish towel.
  • knife: I used a sharp knife to cut the meat.
  • microwave: Sally cooked the potatoes in the microwave.
  • oven: When the chicken was ready, I took it out of the oven.
  • oven gloves, oven mitts: Before taking the cake out of the oven, I put on some oven gloves.
  • pan: I fried the eggs in a pan.
  • pot: The pot was full of boiling water.
  • refrigerator: We keep our cheese in the refrigerator.
  • sink: There were dirty plates in the sink.
  • toaster: Nick put two slices of bread into the toaster.
  • washing up liquid (UK), dishwashing liquid (US): I used the new washing up liquid to wash the dishes.
