The first black hole picture was taken in 2017. The picture was taken by 8 telescopes as part of the Event Horizon Telescope Project. This picture is really important as valid proof of black hole existence. Such a big achievement by those astronomers. In the future, I believe there will be more achievements in terms of astronomy. Let’s hope Mars or the Moon will be able to be colonized by this century.

I hope, people will be able to move from one place to another without using any car or shuttle.there will be some machine, which would transform a person into some energy (like light)and would send him anywhere he likes in microseconds and then again transform him into his usual form again.we know mass can be transformed into energee and vice versa.

Hi Tara, my name is Mariateresa. I consider this article easy to understand especially for me that I’m an italian. Your shorts news reports are for me as the balance between study and current relevance.
I’m a student of engineering, I love so much physics but I don’t Know which other “impossibilities” will be made possible in this century. I just believe that physics, astronomy are very diffult to study and understand and Our universe is very complicated to find out. -

Hi Tara,
First, thank you for this week’s audio news report.
Second, I could understand the subject without seeing the text and could fill in the blanks all words except “eight” and “circle”.
Third, it’s a so interesting subject for your learners that they know about the space and the black hole.
I myself had never heard about the black holes and didn’t know anything about the dead stars.Wow!
My God!
Our space is so complicated.
Thanks to astronomers for their trying to understand about the space more and more and day to day.Teacher Tara,
Thank you for choosing an interesting subject for your students this week.Best wishes and have a wonderful week in beautiful Canada,
