McDonald’s has partnered with the US embassy to offer limited consular services. That renowned franchise can’t issue passports to American citizens but can help direct them if there is a loss. For these services, McDonald’s will not be getting a dime at all. It is quite a good move from McDonald’s, as with these services, the restaurant could attract more people to visit them.

I think it is a good idea, because it helps to American people, who are undocumented and they will be able to find employment easily

Hi Tara,
First, thank you for this week’s audio news report. It’s so easy for me and could fill in the blanks all words.
Second, it’s also so interesting for me that a well-known restaurant like McDonald does this wonderful subject.
Third, I wish other countries like the countries are in the European Union or Canada also did this interesting service by their well-known restaurants and then helped to their citizens.
Teacher Tara,
Thank you and best wishes,Bijan
