Last year, My family found a wallet when we came back to our hometown, in the wallet had nearly 500 USD. We tried to find the owner’s information and luckily we found a driver’s license. So I took a picture and posted it on Facebook. and so many people shared it with other people. After 1 hour, my phone rang, a man said that was his wallet. I checked the information carefully and returned back to him. He was so appreciative for my behavior.

I will be lucky if I find valuable item or money in plain sight.
It’s fair to bring it at the police station or to call them.
The person might be in trouble to find the item. I trie to be in the place of that person and it hurt to be in such situation.

I have found a small amount of money in the streets like 50 pesos or max. 2000 pesos, and i have taken it. Maybe the correct thing to do in that situation is leave the money there, but I think if you see money in the streets you´re just gonna take it beacuse you want it, but no, I have never found a valuable thing in public except for money.

In my opinion, it’s fair that when you found something, you take it to reception, etc… because the person who lost that object, will easily find it, asking for it in the reception, etc…
But if the owner does not come to claim it in less that 2 weeks you can keep the object -

Yes, I have found money in the street. I tried to find the owner but I have never been lucky. On the other hand, I found a cell phone in the cinema one year ago. It was an strange situation because I spend long time waiting for the owner at the entrance. When I arrived to my house, the cell phone rang and I took the call, It was the owner, she was worried because his mobile phone had a lot of photos and contacts about his work.
I told her that I wanted to return her phone, she was so happy due to I tried to helped her with this situation. After that, we continue to keep in touch and the end she became my girlfriend, amazing jejeje!!!
P.D. Thanks for this opportunity because I tried to improve my writing skill.

yes, I interact with many such incidents.
I am a shopkeeper in a sweet shop. many customers come in a day. so, I remembered an incident.A customer left his fruit bag in my shop. so, we know that fruits become useless after a few days. one of my friend entered into my shop. he saw that bag. and asked to me. whose bag this is?. i replied, it is of a customer. he forgets his fruit bag. then next day again my same friend came and he saw that bag. again 3rd day he saw that. so, he asked me for eating these fruits. i also thought, owner of this fruit bag will not come. then we started eating in a back room in my shop. then at that time owner of the fruit bag came. and I came to the counter table. he asked me about his fruit bag. I was totally confused. because that time me and my friend were eating his fruit in back room. but I don’t know what to tell him. so, I told him. I did not see your fruit bag.
after that, I was very upset. and then I decided to not repeat it again.
thanks Tara

Hi Tara,
First, thank you for this nice lesson.
Second, I could understand the subject without seeing the text, but some words weren’t clear for me because I think the news is a bit difficult to me.
In addition, I couldn’t answer the question three of comprehension and also couldn’t fill in the blanks the words department and package.
Third, in my opinion, it’s unfair that if no one tries to claim the envelopes for two weeks, they are returned to the people who found them because two weeks are so small period.
In addition, it’s better that the police to announce in the famous newspapers about them because it’s possible to find the owners of the envelopes.Fourth, according to Iran’s civil law this time is one year, not two week.
Teacher Tara,
You, Mr.Josef and English Club are into my soul and heart.Thank you and best wishes,
Bijan
