  It is not a matter of necessity, but therapy dogs are sometimes needed for children and people with related mental issues. As long as the dogs are well-trained, I don’t see any problems with that.

  I think it is necessary for police department to have therapy dogs. Everything has something advantage and disadvantage. And therapy dog is not excepted. There are many investigating and checking jobs everyday. And many of them can be done better by the therapy dogs than others. They very brave and skillful. They are good at many jobs which human can’t do.
  It is necessary to have more and more therapy dogs servicing with policeman.

In the last years animals have been introduced in different job situations and also in medicals treatment because of their helpful characteristic such as emphaty. Policmen do a very hard job that has also pshycological compliances so i think the presence of a therapy dog could be of great help.

  This is usually for the celebration of Christmas.

  First, thank you for this week’s audio news report.

  Second, it’s so difficult to me and could understand the subject hardly without seeing the text.

  In addition, I couldn’t answer the questions of comprehension at all. I could only fill in the blanks the words “building” and “managed”.

  Third, I saw that the sentence ” …the department has been taken precautions to prevent …” in the first text has changed to the following sentence in the second text:

  “…the officers have taken precautions to prevent…”

  I couldn’t understand why has this change happened?

  Fourth, for answering to the question of Toya and Glon about Toy Drive, I searched for the meaning of “drive” in the Cambridge Dictionary and found the following meaning:
  a planned effort to achieve something.

  I guess, maybe, the above meaning can justify the meaning of Toy Drive.
