Hi Tara,
First, thank you for this week’s news report.
Second, I could understand the text more difficult than the last week (of course, without seeing it).
Thus I listened to the audio news report more than 6 times today and do this again and again for the next week.
In addition, I could fill in the blanks all words except the word heroic.
Third, I searched for the word “Spiderman” in the Oxford Dictionary that has two meanings:
1. A US cartoon, TV and film character who develops special powers….
2. British informal, A person who works at great heights in building work.I guess the hero in this story is a symbol of character who does special powers and am surprised how could the hero do this work?
Maybe, he is a sport man that we don’t know in which field he is the expert?
Teacher Tara,
Thank you for choosing the interesting news for your students.
Best wishes and have a great time in nice Canada,
Bijan from the Persian Gulf
