I suppose that journalists must be fast in order to be the first publishing the news. Because of this, sometimes they could make mistakes.

Hi Tara,
First, thank you for the first audio news report of the New Year 2019.
Second, I think your speaking ‘s speed is a bit faster than the last week, but could understand the subject without seeing the text and could fill in the blanks all words except the word survivors.
Third, I’m sorry to hear the bad news and it looks like it’s usual to hear the bad news in our world every day.
I myself am so romantic and love to hear the good news, but what can I do when we live in a world that is full of wars?
I can only post messages of Love, Peace and Kindness on social networks that, maybe, the leaders of countries and politicians read them and try for making peace in the world.
It looks like when we ( people) aren’t kind with each other, these bad events increase in our world.
Fourth, I like the opinion of Hanuman too because, maybe, Hanuman’s soul is tired of the bad news.
Teacher Tara,
Thank you so much for publishing the audio news reports, even if they are the bad news because they are part of the facts of our world and we should hear them.
Best wishes and have a wonderful week in nice Canada,

In this text one of the interesting thing is the use of terms “likely” and “unlikely”, common in everyday English conversation.
