Death Toll Climbs Following Russia Explosion

At least 33 people are confirmed dead following a New Year’s Eve explosion in an building in Russia. An 11-month-old , who was found alive in his crib 35 hours after the blast, remains in serious but stable condition. Several others remain unaccounted for, and investigators say the chances of finding more is unlikely due to the frigid . The cause of the explosion is , though officials believe it was likely caused by a gas leak.
