Better to have loved and lost?

Posted by: Josef Essberger
What do YOU think? Is it better to have loved and lost? Or is it better never to have loved at all?

I hold it true, whate’er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.

(By Alfred Lord Tennyson 1809–1892)
